Logo Guidelines

Primary Logo 4C–3D

Primary 4c-3dimensional logo (note no shadow below logo). "The preferred background colors are white, and pantone cool gray 1."

 

Secondary Logo

Only for use when limited to 1 color reproduction and the quality of 3dimensional logo is jeopardized."

 

Primary Grayscale–3D

Primary grayscale 3dimensional logo only use this logo if the above 4c color quality is jeopardized. The preferred background colors are white, and pantone cool gray 1."

Use of the orb without the “connect” should only happen when there is ample representation of the Uconnect® logomark. For example, use on a shirt at a trade show is acceptable where there is ample use of the full Uconnect® logomark.

Clear Space / Dimensions

The clear space surrounding the Uconnect® and “U” logo marks cannot be less than the height of the “u” in the logo. It is important to maintain a sufficient amount of space around the signature to ensure that the signature is distinct and easily identifiable.

Trademark

Uconnect® has a number of registered and trademarked word marks in addition to its primary and secondary logo marks. The word marks should always be used in their approved format. They should also carry the ® or ™ signature in the headline and first mention on a page. Subsequent mentions do not require the use of ® or ™ in their word marks.

Incorrect Usage

The Primary and Secondary logo marks provide a number of options for logo use. Please follow those guidelines carefully, and avoid logo “donʼts” such as the examples below.

 

Donʼts

1. Use the old version of the logo.

2-3.Use the logo on any other color than black, white, or grey.

4-5. Rotate, stretch, distort or add any artistic filters to the logo.

6. Use the logo with shadow beneath.

7. Use the logo vertically
