| BTT | Bench Top Tester or bench top head unit. |
| Chrysler CE | Chrysler Customer Experience |
| Chrysler Certification | A process that ensures all product launch conditions have been met for a specific device(s). Certification encompasses Compliance, Verification, Validation, and other launch criteria, such as any required commercial agreements, etc. for a specific device. |
| FIT | Field Integration Testing. |
| HU | HU or Head Unit is the physical radio in a vehicle. |
| NRT | Network Readiness Testing. |
| PCF | Peer Communication Framework is a peer to peer network service that enables HTTP get and post requests and responses over Bluetooth and USB. |
| UAA | Uconnect Access Application is a Sprint application that runs on a phone and talks to the head unit. |
